These trips were not official EIG trips but they are the kind of trips which the EIG believes further its aims.

May, July & August,  Turkey  10km square surveying

These trips had to be cancelled due to problems with research visas.  It's possible that the work will now be carried out in 2008.

July 10-17, France  Survey for the Balkan Fritillary (Boloria graeca) in the Ecrins National Park

July/August, Hungary  One week each in the Aggtelek and Orseg National parks, carrying out general recording, and in Orseg helping with research work on Maculinea species.
